Nadia Rajsz Named to Statewide Public Employee Relations Committee

Monticello, NY – Sullivan County Legislature Vice Chair Nadia Rajsz has been appointed to the New York State Association of Counties’ (NYSAC’s) Standing Committee on Public Employee Relations.

“NYSAC’s standing committees play an important role in helping us shape our policies and positions on legislative issues,” NYSAC President MaryEllen Odell wrote to Rajsz in a letter confirming her appointment. “Your experience and knowledge will add to the quality of our deliberations, and I hope you are able to serve.”

“I am honored to be selected for this important committee, which shapes advocacy and policy for public employee relations issues,” Rajsz remarked. “I’m the chair of the County Legislature’s Personnel Committee, chair of SUNY Orange’s Clinical Laboratory Science Department, and I’ve worked as the assistant manager of a hospital lab. Coupled with my former tenure as Town of Lumberland Supervisor, I have a deep interest in the concerns of public employees and how we deal with them. Yes, these issues can be complicated, full of many variables and diverse opinions and emotions, but I enjoy trying to come to consensus.”

NYSAC represents, educates and advocates for New York’s 62 counties and their taxpayers before Federal, State and Local officials on matters germane to County governments. For more information, visit
