Fire Training in Sullivan County is provided to all Firefighters. All fire training classroom, hands on and live fire evolutions are conducted at our new “State of the Art” Emergency Services Training Center Complex located at 615 Old White Lake Turnpike, Swan Lake, New York 12783 just off of  State Route 55. The Emergency Services Training Center is under the Supervision of the Training Center Coordinator John Hauschild. The New York State Fire Training Program is under the supervision of Senior Deputy Fire Coordinator Joe Mellan. Deputy Mellan coordinates and administers the State Fire Program through the staff of six NYS Fire Instructors assigned to Sullivan County.
