The Department of Community Services is the Local Government Unit for the development of behavioral health service plans for Sullivan County.
The Department provides funding for community based behavioral health services.The Department also provides direct services in mental health, alcoholism and drug abuse to all residents of Sullivan County. - Services are available to individuals of all age groups, without regard to severity of their disability.

There will be a meeting of the Sullivan County Community Services Board at the Sullivan County Government Center on May 12 in the Legislative Hearing Room at 5:30 PM. Please come and provide us with public comment on our Behavioral Health Plan.

The Developmental Disability Resource Network of Sullivan County offers a central point to obtain information and assistance regarding the OMRDD Eligibility application process, MRDD providers and their contact information.
Fees are based on a sliding scale, determined by net family income. The Department accepts Medicaid, Medicare and Insurance. Come in or call daily between the hours of 9 AM - 11 AM and 1 PM to 4 PM.
