Do you live on a stream or river? This event is for you!

(Jeffersonville) - County Manager David P. Fanslau has announced that there will be a demonstration of river and stream maintenance at the annual stream clean up event sponsored by Sullivan County Soil and Water Conservation District and Sullivan County Planning.  The event will be held on Saturday, July 24th at 10 AM. Volunteers are requested to join us for this event.  Please be prepared to help clean up a section of the Mill Pond in Jeffersonville while learning about what you are allowed to do without a DEC permit, and when you need a permit.  Find out about Japanese Knotweed abatement, erosion control, debris removal, flooding and storm water pollution prevention.

Volunteers are requested to meet at Mill Pond, which is located off Route 52 on the Youngsville side of Jeffersonville just over the bridge to the Island.
