(Monticello, NY - 5:00 PM) - The Sullivan County Division of Public Works is closing a portion of County Road 52 (Brickman Road), in the Town of Fallsburg, to remove an existing damaged overhead pedestrian bridge. The pedestrian bridge is located approximately one and half (1.5) miles west of the intersection of State Route 42 on County Road 52 (Brickman Road). This section of road is scheduled to be closed to traffic starting 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 25th, 2012 and will remain closed for approximately two (2) days.

The Sullivan County Division of Public Works will post a detour route using Mt. Cliff Road (Town Highway 73), State Route 52 and Murphy Road (Town Highway 74), in the Town of Fallsburg.
