What Planning and Zoning Boards need to know about Wind Energy.
In response to inquiries from municipalities to learn more about regulating and reviewing wind energy projects, Sullivan County Division of Planning and Environmental Management has organized this event as part of our ongoing efforts to provide training opportunities to members of planning boards and zoning boards of appeals. Local and regional experts will participate in a panel discussion that will range from how local governments can plan for wind projects through zoning to tools for reviewing projects that come before Planning and Zoning Boards. Come prepared to ask questions. A “Wind Energy Tool Kit” from NYSERDA will be available on disk to participants.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call Heather Jacksy at 845-807-0527 or email email@example.com
